Michele knew from a very young age she was destined to do hair.She comes from a legacy of stylist most notably her father who was a successful stylist and salon owner in one of New York's Boroughs.Michele was inspired to be the creative artist today having grown up in New York surrounded by talent, energy ,and style.At the age of fifteen,Michele started assisting in salons ,and by eighteen was a licensed stylist.She worked in New York for the first ten years of her career, continued on in her profession in Southern California as well as the San Francisco Peninsula .In 2008she opened RENEW SALON .Who would have imagined the girl from New York would open her salon on 5th Ave across from Central Park in San Mateo !Michele has been and will always be committed to continuing education .She loves her art and is grateful for all the opportunities presented to her as a stylist and salon owner.Michele gives generously to local schools and charities .Her connection to her community, clients ,friends, and family is unmatched .Michele is an inspiration to all who know her because of her thirst for growing ;not only as a stylist ,artist and business women but as an enlightened individual .

Sara
Sara was always interested in Fashion .She toured Fashion Art and Cosmetology School.When Sara decided hair was what she wanted to pursue she decided to sign up at The College of San Mateo Cosmetology Program .Sara was informed the program was full and she would be put on a waitlist.After 6 months Sara was contacted that a spot had opened up and so her career begins.Sara assisted Master Stylist and Colorist Cathrine Hackworth for one and half years in San Mateo .She attended the Redken Exchange In New York City ,Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles and advanced color and cutting classes .Sara advanced quickly and went on to build a loyal clientele.Sara joined Renew Salon in 2009 .Sara is genuine ,.kind ,professional ,creative and methodical stylist .She specializes in color,highlights and haircutting.
